A limited edition hand-loomed sari & blouse made in partnership with Amba. Founded by Hema Shroff Patel and based in the historic weaving community of Maheshwar, this enterprise aims to balance the dynamic between master weavers and artists/designers and place them on equal footing in the creative process. Amba’s model seeks to marry textile innovation with craft know-how and experience which also reflects a core practice of our own way of making. The sari and accompanying bralet blouse are made of tissue weight Iced Lilac Maheshwar silk interlaced with fine Gold zari.
