Product Description

An elegant addition to any wardrobe, the Ingeborg Cardigan features a unique asymmetrical design with a playful mix of vertical and horizontal cables. Crafted with traditional techniques, this lightweight cardigan can be styled open or closed, making it versatile for various occasions. Perfect for layering in warmer months, it combines comfort with a dynamic flair, embodying the spirit of contemporary knitwear. Ideal for those looking to add an artistic touch to their outfit. From the brand: Skall Studio Ingeborg Cardigan knitting pattern. (OBS this is NOT including yarn) Ingeborg is perhaps our most playful design to date. It’s an asymmetrical knit crafted with classic techniques that capture Skall’s spirit, yet it stands out with unexpected details. On one side of the center, you’ll find vertical cables; on the other, horizontal ones. This interplay of techniques creates sections that stretch and others that contract, highlighting the dynamic, living nature of wool. It was one of our most technically challenging designs to develop—and of course, we love a great cardigan. Wear it as a lightweight summer jacket, leave it slightly open at the hem or neckline, and experiment with your look. SIZE: XS/S (M/L) ½ CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE: 62 (66) cm LENGTH: 58 (59) cm SLEEVE LENGTH: 50 (52) cm RECOMMENDED NEEDLES: Circular needles size 3.5 and 4 mm, 80 cm cable. YARN:  Håndværksgarn 700 (800) g from Hjelholt Spinning Mill. NOTIONS: 5 buttons Ø 2.5 cm CONSTRUCTION The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. First, you knit back and forth across the body. At the armholes, the piece is divided into front and back sections, which are finished separately. The shoulders are joined together with a 3-needle bind-off. Stitches are picked up along each armhole, and the sleeves are knitted in the round on a circular needle. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline, and the neckband is knitted back and forth in rib. When right and left side are mentioned, it refers to the cardigan’s right and left side. If the file is opened your purchase cannot be returned. Happy knitting!
