Product Description

Inspired by the historical Delectable Mountains quilt pattern, this hand-drawn bandana blends artistic charm with a touch of nostalgia. It's crafted from improved cotton, featuring intricate designs and lettering that evoke both hope and the allure of adventure. Measuring 22 x 22 inches, it serves as a versatile accessory for various outfits, making it a striking addition to any wardrobe. Perfect for those who appreciate unique heritage-inspired designs. From the brand: 22 x 22 inches +/- Quilt Inspired Bandana This new bandana is an homage to my favorite historical quilt pattern: Delectable Mountains. Hand-drawn and lettered details reinterpret the charming “wonk” of this slashed rectangle quilt. I love the name “Delectable Mountains” as much as the transfixing pattern. I began designing this bandana in the spring when I moved to Oregon, just days before the pandemic shutdown. In the book Pilgrim’s Progress the delectable mountains represent both hope and fear to the traveler. They are a sign that the destination is close, yet hold dangerous falls should a pilgrim stray from the path. I could see the Cascade Mountain peaks from my neighborhood bubble and yearned to explore them. Instead I stayed home, stayed vigilant, and tried to stay hopeful.
