This belt uses extra-thick, oiled steerhide from the States, with a thickness of 5mm - 8mm. After being tanned, this leather is heavily oiled to make it water repellent, and the edges are carefully polished, belt by belt, by a sole master craftsman. The more this belt is used, the more shiny and beautiful it will become, so you can look forward to years of fine aging with this special item.
The most unique feature of this belt is its shape - we’ve cut the heavy leather into a curve to match the shape of the waist, making it supremely comfortable from the very first wear. The 60mm x 90mm extra-large buckle is made of solid, heavy brass and is perfectly suited to this ultra-thick leather. Encapsulating the power and quality of Samurai, this brass buckle is cast using an time-honored casting method, right here in Osaka by master craftsmen.
