The indigo version of this jacket is made of an original 15oz denim well-known for color fading, while the black version is made of an original fabric with a specially-processed brown duck fabric with a thick, textured surface and black coloring. The black will slowly reveal its brown core as it is repeatedly worn, and will change over time like TEA CORE. The lining is a heat-retaining recycled polyester boa and can be washed. The jacket is slightly larger than the usual Samurai jacket size and silhouette, so it works well with layering or as an over-jacket. These jackets were originally made of sheepskin, but by using a cotton fabric like we do at Samurai, it's possible to enjoy changes in color and texture.
