From the brand: After a few trips to Japan enjoying the surf, snow and the amazing art & culture, we felt it was time to collaborate with Japanese artist Hazuki Yamashiro to develop something fun for Storm. Hazuki-san is a long time friend and was born and raised in Okinawa in the Nanjo Village area. She is inspired by skateboarding, frisbee, gardening, animals, bugs and harmonious people. The maneki-neko (beckoning cat) is a Japanese figure meant to bring good luck, happiness and positive energy.
The text above the cat says "Storm Surf Shop" and the Kanji on the board says "Storm". The figures under the cat roughly translate to "ride the wave of good times."
