From the brand: The Story New Jersey Americans played in Teaneck Armory from 1967 to 1968 before eventually moving operations to Commack, NY in 1968 to become the New York Nets. Under the Nets banner, they team won 2 ABA Titles (in '74 and '76) and were eventually welcomed into the NBA when the two leagues merged in 1976. Unfortunately they kept the name Nets, vs. keeping the ever more awesome American's moniker. Crafted with the intention of being the softest shirt in your lineup, our signature tees are made with premium airlume (for softness) and ringspun (for durability) cotton combined with poly to make the perfect tee 👌 that wears and feels like a well-worn favorite. Our garments are printed with inks that actually blend into the fabric giving it more character and true vintage look with every wash.
