1969 Washington Caps Wordmark Tee
Product Description
This vintage-inspired tee pays homage to the legendary Washington Caps, featuring an iconic logo that embodies the spirit of basketball's rich history. Crafted from a soft and durable blend of airlume ring-spun cotton and polyester, it offers unparalleled comfort and a flattering unisex fit. Printed in the USA with eco-friendly inks, this tee not only looks great but feels great too—making it a perfect addition to any casual wardrobe. Celebrate basketball's past in style! From the brand: The Story With players like Rick Barry & Warren Armstrong gracing the court for the Washington, D.C. it's a shame they didn't make it to the big show. Washington Caps played in Washington Coliseum from 1969 to 1970 before eventually folding and moving operations to Norfolk in 1970 to become the Virginia Squires. When the ABA and NBA merged in 1976 the glory of the Washington Caps was retired to the rafters of Basketballs past glory. Crafted with the intention of being the softest shirt in your lineup, our signature tees are made with premium airlume (for softness) and ringspun (for durability) cotton combined with poly to make the perfect tee 👌 that wears and feels like a well-worn favorite. Our garments are printed with inks that actually blend into the fabric giving it more character and true vintage look with every wash.
