From the brand: The Story
The Pittsburgh Americans were organized by Dick Guy, a sports editor and business manager for the then-Pittsburgh Pirates of the NFL.
The Americans played all of their home games at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field. The team folded half-way through their second season in 1937.
