Fíodóir
, or Weaver stitch, emulates the mosaic patterns of the stone walls in a striking combination of knitting and weaving. This intricate stitch uses a base Donegal fleck base yarn, and up to 3 contrasting colours for the floating weave. The show-stopping, oversized Fíodóir Scarf which can also be worn as a unique shawl, reflects the long history of both weaving and knitting on the Aran Islands. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. This generously sized scarf measures 42cm x 165cm.
