From the brand: For Autumn/Winter 2024, we are delighted to present an intriguing design update to our ever-popular Aran Fisherman’s Sweater – the Boatbuilder. With the new Handstitch Boatbuilder, the distinctive ribbed raglan is now highlighted further by a unique handstitch design created by our artisans here in Inis Meáin. Practical and supremely comfortable, this relaxed fit sweater has a high roll neck for warmth. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.
Available in Blue Fleck, a new, deep azure with very subtle flecks of lighter blue combined with a navy handstitch. The handstitching is carefully carried out once the piece is completed, so if you decide you would prefer the sweater without the contrasting handstitch feature, you can either ask us on purchase to remove it, or remove it easily at home. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
