From the brand: Based on the same pattern as our original IHV-02, this heavyweight vintage-style work vest pairs a 14oz Japanese dobby cloth front with a hardwearing duck canvas back. Woven on a dobby loom using indigo-rope dyed yarns, the geometric weave creates a heavily textured, rugged face with far more exposed edges than a twill or plain weave. To add to the vest’s unique appearance, the yarns are soaked with green sulphur dye at the final stage of dying. This darkens the fabric, creating a distinctive hue which will quickly fade in high-wear areas to emphasise the three-dimensional nature of the dobby weave.
