From the brand: The 1955 model from Sugar Cane is modeled after the 501 jeans from the mid 1950s, with a generous top block and a subtle taper from the knee down. Crafted from a 14oz denim that's woven on vintage Toyoda looms, the fabric is unique to the 1955 model, showing more character relative to the denims used in other Sugar Cane styles.
This jean is an unsanforized style that has been washed once—expect little to no shrinkage if washed cold and hang dried. Our experience shows that this jean will stretch in the waist up to 1" with wear.
