Dubble Works knits No. 8 thick yarn on vintage Standwheeler knitting machines, replicating the distinct, crisp hand feel of vintage clothing. Open-end, airspun yarn has an airy, slightly bumpy surface, full and light to the touch, with a slight bounce and a surprising degree of stretch. The Standwheeler knitting machines produce a tubular knit, very similar to a Loopwheeler machine, but is designed to handle the heavier yarns, and results in a garment that seems to be from another time!
