Memento Found Art Note
JOLIE
A late 19th century French textile painting redrawn by Fringe artists. The large original painting is 24" x 29," and is a vibrant watercolor painted on very thin paper. The art is filled with thick vines, which are decorated with exaggerated leaves and stylized French flowers. A Fringe artist has redrawn the art and simplified the forms to reflect a more modern sensibility. The result is a light and classic one-color version of the antique art.
