Limited to just 22 ordering slots, the X126 is crafted from a single roll of rare 14 ounce cotton hemp selvedge denim. The first hemp selvedge we’ve produced in nearly a decade. This marks the long awaited return of a truly special fabric that blends heritage weaving with natural innovation.
Hemp denim of this caliber is exceptionally hard to find. We managed to secure one roll woven on traditional shuttle looms. An increasingly scarce process that produces the signature selvedge edge and a tighter, more character rich weave. Even more unique, this fabric weighs in at a medium heavy 14 ounces. Most hemp denims are lighter in weight, making this one a standout for its structure and long-term durability.
The blend is 77% cotton and 23% hemp, offering the perfect balance of softness, breathability, and strength. Hemp fibers add a dry, crisp hand and are visible throughout the indigo surface, giving the fabric a distinct texture with subtle irregularities that will develop personality over time. The medium rigid hand will crease sharply and evolve into deep, high contrast fades unique to the wearer.
Each pair will be handcrafted in-house at Railcar, start to finish, with our signature construction details. Once these 22 pairs are spoken for, this run, with this fabric, will be gone.

The Spikes Fit:
The Railcar signature "Spikes" fit is a medium rise, modern slim taper fit. The rise has plenty of height to keep you comfortably covered but not too high that it will dig into your stomach.
Delivery:
We have 1 single roll that will be cut and sewn and will take about 3 weeks for delivery once you order.

Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric, the results has minimal shrinkage. We recommend sizing to your normally bought size. After we soaked and flat dry a pair of the X126 hemp jeans, the results were only .25 in width that will easily stretch back out with one wear. The length shrinks one inch. Don't size up nor down.
Free Chain Stitch Hem:
Your Railcar comes with free chain stitch hemming to your desired length. If this is your first Railcar order, we highly recommend not requesting a custom hem on your jeans because your jeans will not qualify them to be exchanged or returned. If you know your Railcar size, you could request a hem by making a note in the note section when checking out or by email. All customized hemmed jeans are final sale.

If for some reason we run out of fabric, the later orders will be canceled and fully refunded. You will be notified as soon as it is known. Orders will be made in the order in received.
