From the brand: The Akintola Aso-Oke Dress is a pullover neck tunic dress crafted from Aso-Oke fabric, (pronounced ah-SHAW-okay). Aso-Oke is a hand-woven cloth created by the Yoruba People of Nigeria, west Africa.
The fabric of this dress was hand-loomed for Kemi Telford by our expert in the ancient city of Iseyin, Oyo State Nigeria.
This tunic dress was hand stitched by our seamstress Helen who is based in Surulere, Lagos. The subtle hand embroidery around the statement sleeves, neckline, and belt was done by Mohammed in his workshop which is also based in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
