This is Jiaoren, the mermaid we drew inspiration from for our pearl collection.
A mermaid with a pure soul and emotions as deep as the ocean. When she laughs, the sea dances with her; when she loves, the waves whisper her name. And when something moves her, crystalline tears fall from her eyes, which, upon touching the water, transform into pearls.
But the most beautiful thing about the myth, besides the fact that her tears turned into pearls, is that she didn't cry out of sadness, but because each tear was a reflection of her soul and the immensity of the ocean. These pearls were considered sacred jewels, imbued with the essence of the sea and the wisdom of her lineage, the Jiaoren.

Our Jiaoren collection is created from baroque freshwater pearls with irregular shapes, nuances, and pearly tones. Pearls may come in whiter or darker shades, as well as brighter or more matte pearls.
