From the brand: The K2 Holgate is a rugged, stiff-flexing snowboard boot built to push boundaries and is stacked with premium technology. It all starts with construction; the Holgate is outfitted with a reinforced rubber toe that is abrasion resistant and helps give that extra little bit of grip to the binding toe strap. The heel counter was engineered using our Endo™ 2.0 construction, a urethane heel counter that allows us to change the flex and rebound of the boot without adding extra materials.
This extends the boot's lifespan and adds a layer of protection to guard against binding abrasion. The Holgate’s lacing system comprises of two BOA® Fit System reels. The exterior H4 Coiler BOA® Fit System reel helps to provide a stable and secure closure throughout the boot. The BOA® reel located on the lateral side of the shell controls our Conda™ liner lace system, giving you maximum control over the fit of your boot while keeping your heel locked to the bottom of the footbed for power transfer when you need it most.
Wrapping the foot, we've placed our most supportive liner, composed of multiple densities of heat-moldable Intuition® foam. This open-cell foam means that it can be re-molded time and time again to achieve the perfect fit throughout the boot's life. The liner is outfitted with our breathable and heat reflecting Spaceheater™ material, keeping riders warm and dry all day long. And lastly, we've integrated a 95% post-consumer recycled coffee mesh from SCafe™ into the liner to help eliminate unwanted odor after a long day on the hill.
Underfoot, the midsole combines a lightweight and stable EVA and Harshmellow™, a proprietary technology that helps absorb impact, increasess damping, and provide a more "quiet" feel while snowboarding.
The outsole on the Thraxis snowboard boot is our ALL-NEW Vibram® V5 outsole, providing unmatched traction in the boot pack and is made using at least 30% recycled rubber through the Vibram® Ecostep program.

Eco-Harshmellow™ Pro Insole

H4 Coiler Zonal BOA® Fit System
Impact resistant, durable, and performance-driven, the H4 BOA® Dial ejects on severe impact and is easily re-inserted into the boot. One dial controls the upper shell lacing, and the other maintains the lower shell lacing.
TX3 BOA® Lacing
A softer lace explicitly made for snowboard boots that provides a more even fit over the body of the boot shell versus a steel lace.
Rubber Reinforced Articulating Upper Cuff with Endo™ 2.0
Reinforced materials in high wear and flex zones extend the boot's life and deliver a distortion-free flex. At the same time, Endo™ 2.0 helps to retain boot flex and durability over the lifetime of the boot.
