Product Description

The Galway 3 boot by Crockett & Jones redefines casual elegance with its low-leg design and three speed hooks. Crafted from durable rough-out suede, it develops a unique character over time. Featuring the innovative Last 394 for enhanced comfort, this boot is built with a softer rubber compound for superior grip. An annual application of dubbin maintains its water resistance, ensuring a lasting rugged aesthetic that combines style and functionality for everyday wear. From the brand: A new style for Crockett & Jones is our latest low-leg hand-pulled apron Derby boot, Galway 3. Featuring only three speed hooks, we have reduced the leg height by an inch, giving the boot a more casual style. The new Last 394 features asymmetric fitting characteristics in the forepart, with an excellent-fitting heel for added comfort during wear. Now made using our latest (softer) rubber compound in England by the Harborough Rubber Company. Rough-out suede is a material that ‘roughs-up’ during wear. Over time, it takes on a rugged, worn aesthetic which makes it our most casual material in the collection. If left uncared for, you will find it lightens and continues to become rougher in look and feel. However, rough-out suede very much benefits from an annual covering in dubbin to uphold its water resistance. An application of dubbin will also darken down the leather, and reduce its rough appearance bringing back some ‘newness’.
