They'll continue to soften up over time, so don't be put off by the initial stiffness (though the dyeing process has taken the edge off, which gives you a jump-start on the wear-in process.) Just like all of our 5-pockets, the shape riffs on two other longtime favorites: think Levi's 501®s with more taper, APC New Standards with more room in the rise, and slimmer than both from the knee down.
