The XX002 features Big John's XXXX-Extra denim, a 15.8oz natural-indigo fabric, woven using an organic cotton blend from five continents. The fabric has a distinctly textured hand, pleasantly slubby and hairy. The Extra denim was first introduced in the 70's, but has long been absent from the brand's catalogue. Big John revived the fabric in 2020 in honor of their 80th anniversary. Please note: these jeans are unsanforized and ~5% shrinkage is expected on the first wash, but stretch back out with wear.
