Natural CXL (Chromexcel cowhide) is a really special, and in our opinion, underrated leather. Handsome and versatile from day one, it's extremely dynamic, darkening significantly over time with wear, while never losing the depth of color and variation from the leather's pull-up. The break-in is easy, with the thick-yet-plush leather quickly taking the shape of your foot and holding on comfortably.
This latest edition Mister Lou has solid brass roller buckles, custom Wesco Dr. Sole half-sole and heel combinations, and a narrower shaft and tightened up heel cup (compared to some older model Wesco Engineer Boots).
The MP1339 last that these are built on runs narrow, so the E width wears like a D. Take one-half size smaller than your Brannock size.
