From the brand: The concept of
Dubble Down
was created once we began looking back into the Dubbleware archives at what type of heavier jackets and outerwear the traditional rail workers were wearing during the 50's and 60's. Down fill, and the emergence of tough wearing nylons began playing a part within winter workwear into the 1960's. This was inspired by sporty and outdoor brands such as Rocky Mountain Featherbed and Eddie Bauer, with durability, comfort and most importantly warmth being fused together to create a garment a manual worker could be outside the entire day in and still complete a days work.
The Quilted Down Jacket t is built to sit close to the body, without the need to have lots of layers underneath. The Durable ribbed cotton cuffs and collar give the jacket comfort in the right places. A ripstop nylon outer shell is a more modern material take on outdoor workwear.
