Crafted from a luxurious cotton khaki twill, the Type 2 Chino offers a WWII-inspired design combining both comfort and style. From the brand: The Type 2 Chino is a fantastic regular fit WWII-style chino, with a nice high rise and comfortable straight leg. The specific beige tone of these chinos is actually proprietary, and was developed based on a pair of well faded military khakis from WWII. These feature narrow belt loops, metal US Army buttons, double felled seams on the legs, and pocket bags sewn up in a 100% cotton narrow width herringbone. The stitching alternates between two colors, a tonal khaki and an (also tonal) olive, for that proper Military accuracy.
The fabric is a lustrous 100% cotton khaki twill, with a medium weight and slightly stiff hand. These will very quickly break in and soften into a much more relaxed drape, in addition to gaining an even softer hand over subsequent washes.
This batch is finished with a significantly longer inseam (when compared to previous batches) and an unfinished hem. All other details are the same.
These run slightly small, we recommend going up one size. Minimal shrinkage with cold wash and hang dry.
