Cut in a relaxed cardigan/kimono fit, the body is relaxed and wide, with two welted hand pockets at the front and no closures down the placket. The sleeves have a raglan cut, mostly to accommodate the two pillow faces (more on them later), but it also ensures an easy and comfortable fit on just about anyone. The slightly oversized cut is perfect for layering, fitting easily over multiple other garments, including heavy knits and even some jackets.
The body is made from a plush and soft 100% cotton velvet fabric, with a quilted rayon internal lining and shoulder pad. Sandwiched between those is a poly interlining fill for additional insulation and a bit of structure, really driving home its superiority as a layering piece. The shoulder pads (which zip into the front and back faces of the pillow that this jacket converts into) feature custom embroidered designs inspired by vintage sukajan jackets and Kapital's usual whimsy.
To convert into a pillow, remove the jacket and unzip the covert openings down the seams beneath the armpits. Fold the jacket flat, so both shoulder panels are face down, and then fold that in half again - leaving one panel facing up, and the other down. From there, simply connect and zip the "Hair Peace" zipper around the garment and voila! You've got a pillow now.
