The base denim, in this case, is a more  slubby than the other Century denims, with Sashiko topstitching – literally, ‘little stabs’ - a form of stitching that was initially utilized functionally to repair or reinforce damaged fabric that eventually came to be used for decorative purposes. The sashiko on this fabric uses rope-dyed indigo to give a unique hand feel and appearance to the denim.
