From the brand: With a stylistic focus that zooms in on the era where denim transitioned from "workwear" to a casual fabric, Fullcount were the first brand to start making their denim from hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, which is famous for its long staple length (granting it both greater softness and durability than short staple cottons).
The 1108 is Fullcount's Slim Straight fit, cut with an agreeable medium rise and a (big surprise) slim straight leg. A excellent fit for someone generally more inclined towards slim or tapered fits, these offer a chance to try out something with a wider leg opening but a comfortably fitted leg - an excellent in-between fit that doesn't lean too heavily into either extreme.
They're made from Fullcount's flagship denim, a 13.75oz, 100% Zimbabwean cotton selvedge denim, produced in Japan. An extremely comfortable medium weight, it's suitable for wear almost year-round. Finished as an unsanforized fabric, Fullcount have given the garment a wash upon completion to remove the initial shrinkage and indigo loss from the denim (also softening it considerably). Over time, the fabric will relax and open up from wear, while washing will help bring the fabric back in via slight shrinkage.
The trims are also worth noting, as they're on par with the excellent fit and fabric - custom Fullcount copper rivets and 100% cotton thread keep everything held together, while custom Fullcount metal buttons close up the waist and fly. On the back, Fullcount's goatskin tag sits above two roomy rear pockets.
These run about 1" small in the waist, we suggest choosing one size larger than your usual size for the best fit. Cold wash and hang dry.
