Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.
The Type III is a recreation of a 1960s-era denim work jacket in the 3rd type configuration — referring to the dropped yoke, angled v-shaped front seams, more snug fit, and two chest pockets. OrSlow's version is as good as it gets, with copper buttons throughout and side tab adjusters, the fit is classic, with slightly dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, and a full torso.

Used Wash
treatment to break in the fabric and develop a handsome initial fade. Based on samples and done entirely in-house, the fading is focused on high wear areas that will continue to change with time, the process also removing any shrinkage the fabric may have.
The hardware is all custom, from the buttons to the branded cardstock "tag" in the collar.
