It has a comfortable mid rise, with a roomy top block and athletic thighs, with a flattering taper from the knee down. These are the sort of tapered fit that work for almost anyone, and even years later they continue to be a shop favorite.
This time around, it's made from a 14oz double indigo selvedge denim from Japan with rainbow neps throughout. A little stiff and sturdy at first, it will soften nicely with a wash, gaining a more relaxed drape without losing their heft and durability. The double indigo body will fade slowly, developing high a contrast patina over time and revealing the rainbow neps more prominently.
The rest of the details are exactly what we've come to expect from Freenote: custom copper hardware, Japanese herringbone pocket bags, tonal "antique gold" selvedge ticker and all custom labels (woven and leather). Construction-wise there are no surprises either, with durable flat-felled seams and Freenote's signature 1/8" double needle stitching accents keeping the whole thing held together.
