The legs are very slightly cropped, hitting about mid-ankle, with a pleated front that allows the waist to feel fitted without losing volume through the top block and thighs.
They're made from a 100% cotton sateen cloth in a "sage green", which was the color used to distinguish "grease monkeys" (mechanics) from the fatigues of other personnel. It's tightly-woven and soft, with a comfortable structure and a very subtle shine to its surface. Over time it will relax and soften considerably, stretching out slightly and forming set creases and fading slightly from wear.
