From the brand: The Filter Shirt is a relaxed-fit button front shirt fabricated from dense cotton washi. The fabric is woven in Japan using cotton yarn on warp and fine washi yarns on weft, giving the fabric a slightly dry and crisp hand feel. The top features a subtly scalloped hem, natural corozo buttons, and top stitching throughout. Features a center box pleat, two-piece yoke, and double-pleated sleeves to create an elegant drape and easy-wearing silhouette. The construction combines flat felled and french seams to give the garment a durable finish that will stand the test of time. James Coward is a collaborative project between three friends: Patrick Bull, Daniel Garrod, and Aaron Gray. They create garments through the reinterpretation of archetypical shapes, fabrics, and details, harmonizing their eclectic triad of sensibilities, influences, and histories. Their project works to create new perceptions of and relationships to the pliable objects and images that construct identity and beauty. All materials are sourced from mills with rich histories. Production processes are realized in communities with esteemed reputations for quality. They value robust fabric, rigorous construction, and the celebration of persistent traditions of regionally specific craftsmanship. 75% cotton, 25% washi. Made in Canada. Hand or delicate wash cold, hang to dry. Do not iron.
