The Type 2 Jacket:
Inspired by the original heritage design. Our version has a few details to improve the jacket for todays modern styling. Hand pockets were added for comfort, huge interior shelled edge pockets for added storage to name a couple. Fit and quality finish is on point to exceed todays standards.
The Spikes Fit:
The Railcar signature "Spikes" fit is a medium rise, modern slim taper fit. The rise has plenty of height to keep you comfortably covered but not too high that it will dig into your stomach.
The Rebels Fit:
The Railcar signature "Rebels" fit is a medium rise, modern straight fit that's not too wide yet not slim.. The rise has plenty of height to keep you comfortably covered but not too high that it will dig into your stomach.
Delivery:
We have just enough Super Nep fabric in-hand at our shop to make 45 garments total. That's 45 garments of Type Rebels straight leg, Rebels straight , and Type 2 jackets combined. Orders are handcrafted when ordered in the order received and should take about 3 weeks for delivery.
The Denim Fabric:
Heavy 15 ounce Super Nep dark indigo denim with a lot of neppy texture on the top surface. The fabric's unique character will become increasingly apparent as you break in these jeans.
Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric by machine wash cold and hang dry, the results are normal denim shrinkage. We recommend sizing these to your normally bought denim size if you normally wear your jeans loose. If you normally size your jeans snug, we would recommend to size up. Being that the fabric is a heavy 20 ounce weight, the jeans will feel tighter. The jeans are made from the exact same patterns as jeans in other fabrics. Please reach out if you have any questions.

By only producing what is sold, we are able to keep the cost low and pass the savings along to you. Unlike other brands, we don't manufacture unsold items, which means you are not covering the cost of excess inventory. We are dedicated to only making what will be worn, allowing us to offer these handcrafted at an affordable price. Please do allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Return And Exchange Policy:
Order with confidence. Even though these are limited and made when ordered, you are still able to return or exchange them if they don't work out for you. If there isn't fabric to do an exchange, we will fully refund you or you could use it as a credit for something else.
