This collection draws from the forgotten corners of old yearbooks — the margins, the doodles, and private jokes scrawled between classmates. We combed through school archives from the 1920s to the 1950s, inspired less by the posed portraits and more by what students left behind. From exaggerated mascots to cartoon-strip sketches about school sports, we were drawn to the personal expressions that turned ordinary pages into time capsules. Inspired by these artifacts of friendship and rivalry, we built our own cast of characters, invented crests, and created a fictional school spirit of our own. Each piece in the group carries the feeling of something lived-in and passed down—designed to feel like it once belonged to someone real.
