All Dixxon lenses are rated UV400 meaning they block between 99 and 100% of UV light from your eyes. This is the highest rating offered. They work to filter and block out light rays with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including both UVA and UVB rays. The protective properties are inherent in the lens material.
