Cut from a lightweight 5.1oz Scottish cotton herringbone and finished with a waxed coating for added weather-resistance and a healthy dose of texture, it’s designed with the unpredictability of everyday life firmly in mind, taking that easy-wearing, everyday silhouette and toughening it up with a hiking-inflected slant.
The shape stays true to the original; a boxy, relaxed, 3-roll-2 front, while the details lean a little more utilitarian: four outer snap tab pockets (two big bellowed numbers at the hips), a pair of internal ones for passports, phones or emergency oat bars, and pin buttons that can be removed via embroidered eyelets. A smart nod to classic workwear uniforms that carried removable buttons to allow for easy laundering.
