Quatrefoil Signet
Product Description
The Quatrefoil Signet Ring combines historical elegance with modern craftsmanship. Inspired by a piece from the Slosgin family portrait, this ring features a distinctive quatrefoil design, symbolizing luck and fortune. Crafted from recycled 14k gold or sterling silver, it offers personalization options with three unique fonts. A tapering band and substantial signet face enhance its charm, making it a statement piece suitable for any occasion. From the brand: The Quatrefoil Signet recalls an adornment worn by an anonymous member of the prominent German merchant family, the Slosgins,— as depicted in one of the earliest known works by the artist Barthel Bruyn the Younger. The four-clover motif known as a quatrefoil was a prominent feature of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and bears associations with good luck and fortune. Our version features a weighty, ridged, band with a rectangular stone signet or flat signet face for engraving. Double your luck with the Diptych Ring,— a play on the ring the sitter wears in the original painting, stacked with the single quatrefoil. The ring face measures approximately 11mm by 8mm with a band that tapers to 4mm wide. Crafted in 100% recycled 14k gold or sterling silver and available in a finish of your choosing (our preference is brushed gold and polished silver as shown in the images). We offer three font options for personalization: laser engraved J.H. Gothic (our entirely custom typeface), a sans serif font (best for inside engravings), and our hand engraved script. We are delighted to offer this style in higher karat metals and custom sizes. Reach out to us at inquiries@jhannahjewelry.com for pricing.
