From the brand: The Princesse Ring is inspired by the jewel-stacked finger of Joséphine-Éléonore-Marie-Pauline de Galard de Brassac de Béarn, the Princesse de Broglie, painted by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, in 1851–53. Princesse de Broglie’s portrait depicts an arrangement of finely tooled jewels made from pearl, enamel, and gold, including a voluminous rope-like band resting in the center.
