Where wearing exposes the denim for abrasion, a flat surface with clear twill lines will be rendered. On the other hand, the unabraded areas will pucker and render a nice grainy, salt 'n pepper surface. This contrast between surface structures is one of the fabric's greatest traits as it will render wear-marks with a rich variation. The indigo will fade towards a blue hue with a slight greenish-yellowcast.
