I (the designer and co-founder of PWR WMN) designed this blazer in an attempt to reconnect with my home country Colombia, on my own terms. I'm from neither there nor here, I am from everywhere and the narrative is now mine to create.
The embroidery is my custom pattern that I created using the Jaguar, a traditional Colombian emblem symbolizing the divine, bearers of the bloodline, preservers of wisdom. I grew up seeing my mother wear this emblem.
