From the brand: OrSlow is consistently one of our most popular brands, and for good reason - their combinations of great fits, custom fabrics, and handsome styles fit easily into almost any wardrobe. Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it.
The Type II is a recreation of a 1950s-era denim work jacket in the 2nd type configuration — referring to the dropped yoke, double pleated placket, boxy fit, and two chest pockets. OrSlow's version is as good as it gets, with copper rivet reinforcements and buttoning side tab adjusters, the fit is relaxed, with dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, and a pleated torso with plenty of space.
It's made from a 100% cotton Japanese indigo denim that OrSlow have finished with their custom

treatment to break in the fabric and develop a handsome initial fade. Based on samples and done entirely in-house, the fading is focused on high wear areas that will continue to change with time, the process also removing any shrinkage the fabric may have.
The hardware is all custom, from the copper rivets, to the metal buttons, to the branded cardstock "tag" in the collar.
Fits true to size. Unisex. Wash cold and hang dry.
