Diesel Boot Rich Tan Sokoto
Product Description
Crafted for durability and comfort, this plain toe boot features a Goodyear-welt construction and is made from Tusting & Burnett's Native Sokoto leather, offering a unique grain with every pair. The vegetable-tanned goat leather is soft and broken in right out of the box, making it an excellent choice for everyday wear. Antique brass eyelets, a cork filler with a steel shank, and full-grain leather accents add to its robust charm. From the brand: The word “diesel” doesn’t exactly remind us of something flashy but instead of something built for strength and longevity. This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern—made with nothing but proven leather uppers, lining, and insole. Tusting & Burnett's Native Sokoto is vegetable-tanned goat leather. The process begins with raw Nigerian goat hides, which are hand-twisted to highlight their distinctive grain lines. These hides are then vegetable-tanned using bagaruwa seeds. The tannery finishes the leather by hand-staining it before tumbling it to enhance the unique grain patterns. It is an incredibly soft leather that feels broken in right out of the box. Due to the tanning process, no two hides are alike. Note: Pre-orders cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged.
