There is a draw sting cord underneath the hood to allow for a more secure load, there are lash tabs added on the side and bottom of the bag for additional modular functionality (paired with the included utility straps), there are 2 water bottle pockets, and it comes with a beautiful hatchet slot that doubles as a giant lash tab for securing blankets and jackets to the front panel of the bag.
