Perfect for collectors and enthusiasts, it stands out as an exceptional choice for any occasion. From the brand: A stainless steel Tissot Seastar Visodate T12.  This is a great looking watch from a brand that is often wrongly overlooked.  Tissot is a Swiss giant, still going strong today. For over 170 years, Tissot has crafted watches in the Swiss mountains of Le Locle with a history as strong as most of today's more recognized brands. In the 1930s, Tissot and Omega merged to form Société Suisse pour l'Industrie Horlogère (SSIH). This model is a very beautifully made case.  Far more interesting than many time only steel pieces from the period. It has a much more modern looking case.  There are a number of chamfers and angles that, from the initial glance, appears to be quite a simple case.  This is why these models have been collected over the years. The case has never been polished, and is presented in excellent condition.  For those that like additional details, similar to those seen from Omega models from the time, there is a beautiful medal on the case back of a galleon ship, the "Seastar" logo to the screwback case. The watch is powered by a very well made automatic movement.  The 784 caliber. The Tissot caliber 784 is a vintage automatic watch movement produced from the late 1960s to early 1970s. While this movement lacks a quickset date function, you can manually advance the datewheel by rotating the hands clockwise from around 8 PM past 12 AM, then counterclockwise back to 8 PM and beyond Overall, this is a fabulous looking watch in original, untouched condition on the original signed stainless steel bracelet for a price that will be almost impossible to find a modern equivalent.
