From the brand: For our second collaboration with Engineered Garments, we designed pieces inspired by our Colorado landscape, that are still distinctively EG. Boulder is immersed in nature, so we wanted the clothing to work in that environment without feeling outdoorsy. Instead of following the trend of "gorp-core," we looked to the past to find the pieces that inspired the movement. During the cultural boom of outdoor sports in the 70s, fashion brands developed cuts and materials supporting an outdoor-centric lifestyle. We pulled inspiration from these vintage styles while making products that feel fresh, as though viewed through a new, modern lens. This collection fits in as comfortably on a mountain hike as at the farmers market or taking a Sunday nap on the couch.
