Inspired by the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail running along the spine of the massive volcanic range that divides our home states, the Filson x Danner Trail 2650 Hiker is engineered with built-in support and traction, outstanding fit, and waterproof protection.
Cutting-edge materials and construction techniques provide support and comfort while minimising weight. The lightweight EVA foam midsole cushions against rocks and rough terrain, and the Trailguard TPU shank provides torsional rigidity for stability in the steep stuff.
The leather and textile uppers are lined with 100% waterproof GORE-TEX and breathable mesh to keep your feet dry and blister-free. The OrthoLite footbed dissipates heat and is removeable for overnight drying.
Danner’s ultralight, external EXO Heel System locks your heel in place for a secure fit for further support and stability. The Vibram® 460 outsole keeps your feet firmly planted to the ground with its multidirectional lugs molded from their durable Megagrip compound, which delivers traction on wet or muddy surfaces and slick rocks.
The fit of Danner’s DT6 last is derived from trail running shoes, with an 8mm offset from heel to toe and a bit more width in the front to conform to the natural shape of the foot for added stability and comfort.
