This construction yields a layer that is quite wind-resistant while maintaining excellent breathability. It’s warm and dries quickly. The exterior is knitted with thick yarns that provide greater durability than the typical soft shell. The forearms are reinforced with a layer of Cordura® nylon for additional protection.
