The shell fabric is a combination of our waxed-cotton Cover and Shelter Cloths to keep the down dry and maintain its insulating power. The 80/20 goose-down insulation is ethically-sourced and traceable back to the original farms to ensure humane processes are followed in its sourcing. Goose down, the fluffy under-plumage found under geese’s protective exterior feathers, is nature’s warmest and lightest insulation. The torso is constructed with our 8-oz. Cover Cloth, with 11-oz.
