Ideal for layering and equipped with robust closures, this jacket combines time-tested design with modern practicality, making it a reliable choice for outdoor adventures. From the brand: This wool Cruiser for women is a warmer version of the iconic Filson coat that’s provided comfort in cold and wet Pacific Northwest weather for more than a century. Originally patented in 1914, the Cruiser quickly became prized for its comfort and functionality in the outdoors. The pocket arrangement on front and back provides plenty of places to carry essentials while adding a double layer of warm wool around most of the torso. The interior of this Cruiser is lined with our signature Alaskan Guide flannel for added warmth and comfort. The sleeves are lined with polyester twill for easy layering. Four front cargo pockets are protected by snapped flaps, and a full-width pocket covers the entire back of the jacket. The buttons for the front closure and adjustable cuffs are the most durable available, to ensure lasting service. Mackinaw Wool is the finest example of the material that’s been the fabric of choice for warmth in the outdoors for centuries. It’s naturally water-resistant and highly breathable. The tight, dense weave of the twill fabric makes it quite wind-resistant and provides the durability to last for generations. Our wool wicks moisture away for evaporation and will continue to insulate even if it gets wet.
