Box
is a grained version of Badalasi Carlo Tannery's Minerva – one of our favorite leathers. This boutique Italian tannery specializes in vegetable tanning. During the process, the leather is placed in a 'Bottali,' a large barrel that rotates, allowing the organic tanning substances to stay in contact with the article. A complete cycle may take 30 - 35 days. The result is a vibrant leather with transparency, depth, and grain.
